The proposed system minimizes the overall network traffic based on optimal threshold of the forwarding chain length. It is dynamically determined for each user based on the mobility and service designs. The performances of the proposed systems are evaluated by using stochastic petri-nets model. The proposed system demonstrates that there exists an optimal threshold of the forwarding chain length for given a set of specific metrics. The proposed system yields significantly better performance than the systems that apply a static threshold to all mobile users.
