With the enormous and fast growth of digital technologies and their in-tegration almost everywhere, the world is changing day by day. Digital transformation is the key to all the changes. It is changing the way of working in each area, by in-volving the digital capabilities in all operational processes, with the clear goal, to facilitate work. A lot of challenges come along with the changes that new technolo-gies bring in every business area, not leaving behind the software industry. The de-velopment of software is the core of these evolving technologies, so it has to be done carefully from the very first stage which is the requirement engineering stage. This stage is highly important, and when done good, it eliminates most of the software errors from the early phases. Thanks to the various software applications and the ability to integrate in every business, the field of requirement management is also using their help to facilitate the work. It is not easy to find the desired software application that will help to simplify work and the communications between the stakeholders, which will lead to under-stand clearly the requirements and deliver on time the desired software with minimum issues and promising success in the end. This paper offers a brief overview of the digital transformation during the require-ment management process, the benefits and the challenges that it faces and as well a list of digital transformation tools that are widely used.
