Abstract

E-learning is a type of learning that is based on the use of IT-Information Technology and IS-Information Systems, in order to facilitate (accelerate, increase the quality, ie reduce the mental-cognitive load) of the learning process. One of the advantages of e-learning systems is the possibility for this e-system to be an e-business system, ie it can be easily adapted (e-learning system) into an e-work system. As an example of such a system we would highlight the system: Software Guide for IT Technology Assessment - SPE-IT developed by the author of this paper. In order to optimize the student's current abilities towards the subject-information material, which would result in reduced mental effort, e-learning programs with personalization are developed. The purpose of personalized learning (similar to e-learning) is to enable more efficient learning, by reducing the time and effort required for learning. Adaptive learning or adaptive teaching, or automated personalized e-learning is personalized e-learning where personalization is based on AI or computer algorithms. Automated personalized e-learning is actually an automated adaptation of learning material to the needs of the student. With the automation of the adjustment, it is possible to make a huge number of adjustments to a huge number of students, which would be very difficult to do with the non-automated adjustment, ie the adjustment is performed by a person-lecturer-teacher. Recommendation systems or systems for recommendations of electronic materials allow the user or student to focus on the most appropriate materials that will teach, that will help in learning.
